Michelle Lau – Poker Pro/Gaming Speaker Operations
Michelle Lau is a professional poker player with an extensive knowledge of the entire gaming industry. In addition to being a former Real Estate Broker and a recent MBA graduate of George Washington University, School of Business, Michelle also co-founded FIDPA, (Federation Internationale de Poker Association) with Marcel Luske “The Flying Dutchman,” to unite the poker industry & to ensure the game is played with fairness. She is also the author of “The International Poker Rules” a standard set of fully modifiable tournament poker rules that is currently used in card rooms around the world. Along with her numerous final table appearances and victories throughout the US and Europe, Michelle has played and taught many of the world’s hottest celebrities and top athletes. She can often be found laughing, joking and playing poker with some of the world’s greatest poker players, professional athletes and some of Hollywood’s most elite. She currently holds a Nevada Gaming License and as an Independent Casino Host in Las Vegas, her network, of high rollers, celebrities and athlete friends, brings personal insight and valuable input to any casino marketing event. As part of The Nova Group team, her thought process and attention to detail, in regards to player acquisition, player retention and brand penetration is unsurpassed when planning any casino marketing event or product launch. Her knowledge of business development, branding and positioning, within the gaming industry and in the public’s eye, provides an accurate and current look at today’s casino player and the best utilization of celebrity. She spends much of her free time being actively involved with various charity organizations including TACA (Talking About Curing Autism), Starkey Hearing Foundation and many other local, national and international causes that promote a better life.
Bill Francis – South East Operations
Bill has 30 plus years in the entertainment & music industry. Booking celebrity talent for major corporate events to private parties. He specializes in marketing & promotion of brands. A wide variety of companies ranging from private label wineries pharmaceutical & casinos have all benefited from his expertise.
Bill, as a music contractor and a member of local 802 musicians union in NYC has been associated with some of the most recognizable jingles ever! His team won a Clio Award for Almond Joy’s, “Sometimes You Feel Like a Nut.”
Bill’s contacts with national media outlets, he is able to maximize brand & client visibility.
Bill has facilitated & Executive Produced film & TV projects for several #1 NY Times Best Selling Authors.
Throughout Bill’s career and travels he has cultivated many relationships that still exist today. At this point in his career he can call upon his contacts to help promote a product or brand. His hard work and perseverance are the main ingredients for a successful campaign.
Rick Campbell – Marketing Director
Rick has nearly 20 years’ experience with both Native American and commercial gaming organizations as an innovative marketing executive. Rick has held senior level executive positions in marketing at the corporate and property levels of organizations such as Herbst Gaming, Tropicana Entertainment, Caesars Entertainment and Isle of Capri Casinos. Rick has executed successful marketing programs for both land-based casinos and online operations. Rick has had the privilege of being invited to conduct seminars, panel discussions and to be a guest speaker at various conferences throughout the United States, Europe and Africa on topics of casino marketing, management and entertainment. Besides being a casino marketing executive, Rick still does event planning for various size events, stage manages for fairs, festivals and national artists and can be found behind a sound or lighting console at a concert from time to time. Rick has also been privileged to be a producer for independent and commercial television projects.
